I knew those things would come in useful someday!
I hadn’t planned on getting one, but there was no way I was going to actually carry around Lonesome Dove or any of the Song of Ice and Fire books for any length of time. Paper books are great, but not when they weigh 8 pounds and won’t fit in a carry-on.

I list mine on my Facebook and Twitter, so I fully expect that some people I know IRL stumble across it that I would not expect to do so. That’s why I do at least try to keep it from getting too weird* around here.
*”Weird” being a relative term, of course—but Tumblr is no more surreal than Facebook on a bad day, and a lot more enjoyable.
