He’s four months old and weighs 6.5 pounds. And the vet said they normally put on a pound a month until they’re a year old.

8 more months of growing at ~1.3 pounds per month (given his current rate of weight gain) + the 6.5 pounds he is now and he’s going to be a 17 pound cat. I might as well have gotten a Great Dane.
