Ask a question
whatiseenashville asked: Do you graduate from Peabody in May?
Nope, I’m not graduating until December. As hard as I work, not even I can complete a master’s degree in three semesters!
Ugh, holy unscheduled Tumblr hiatus, Batman. It’s been a horrible last couple of weeks as I’ve worked until my brains came out of my ears and yet I still remain behind, somehow. The good news is that right now I am 2/3 finished with my last take-home final exam which, when I turn it in tomorrow, will officially mark my last obligation of the spring semester. The bad (?) news is, I’m leaving on Monday to do a month-long internship in Raleigh. I have no idea if I’m going to have a ton of free time or no free time at all, but if I had to guess, I’d say it will probably be the latter.
In other words, I may be on all the time in the next month, or I may be MIA until June, but if you need me you know where to find me.
I miss you, Tumblr.
Love,
Laura
I finished my term paper. Kind of. I still have to edit it. I stayed up till 3:30 working on/procrastinating it last night and got up at 8…and I’m I’m about to go to bed at 1 and get up at 6:30 to edit it before I go to work. And then I have to write another 6-pager tomorrow night after my afternoon classes (which go from 2:30 to 7:00) to turn in on Wednesday.
DON’T EVER GO TO GRAD SCHOOL
I just want to see my beloved Lane Pryce punch Pete Campbell in the face but I have to go to bed now or I will die. Goodnight.
I made it through Hell Week #2! Only four weeks left until finals, THANK GOD.
Also, Hunger Games tomorrow!
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that I plan on winning the Mega Millions tonight. So, that’s a significant development (and is really the only thing making me feel better about all the bills I just paid).
I have a paper and the draft of a grant due this week and a whole ton of reading to do and I just
can’t
seem
to care.
I survived child studies boot camp!

I miss you, Tumblr. Meanwhile, this song more or less on repeat is getting me through this term paper I’m writing.

Once in a blue moon I find something hilarious in my readings for class. Disapproving Pope is one of those times.
(BTW, if you were wondering who Robert Zajonc is, well…I wouldn’t want him scowling at me either.)
